SRM's process of creating a fund begins with assessment of investor needs through consultations with securities companies and research on market trends. Predicting the kind of investment products that investors want ahead of time enables us to acquire properties that match those needs, structure portfolios, and devise asset management plans. The sale of our funds has been and, in principle, will continue to be outsourced to securities companies. To bolster compliance, we have set up an Investment Policy Committee to discuss and decide upon business management issues related to our funds. SRM requires the presence of a third-party real estate appraiser at meetings on acquisition and selling prices, and no discussions are held-nor decisions made-on prices that depart significantly from the opinions of these third-party appraisers.
